Deichman Public Library is responsible for your personal data in connection to registration for and production of the NLT 2026 .
This privacy notice describes the personal data we will collect from all participants in the conference, the purpose of the treatment of this data, and whom we will share this data with.
Participation in the conference is voluntary, and you will fill in your own personal data in the registration form. The purpose of our treatment of this data is to organize your registration for and participation in the conference, and to give you all pertinent information before, after, and during the conference.
We will collect the following data when you register:
First and last name
Email address
Phone number
Business or organization name
Title
Your meal preference: vegetarian or not vegetarian
Treatment of Your Personal Data
By filling out and submitting the registration form for the conference you consent to Deichman recording your personal data via Hoopla for event administration and communication as described in this privacy notice.
Deichman will use your personal data to send you information about the conference before, during, and after the conference, to organize your participation in the conference, and to ask for your feedback. The organizer has access to your data in order to perform its duties in relation to NLT.
If you consent when you register, we will share your name and email with the library responsible for organizing NLT next year, so that you can receive information about next years’ conference. You may retract your consent by emailing nlt2026@deichman.no.
Your Rights
By consenting to receive information about next year’s NLT conference, your name and email address will be saved in the registration system for 30 days. We will delete the other data you have submitted after 30 days.
Data necessary for billing purposes must be kept for 5 years according to Norwegian accounting law. Data saved for billing purposes will only be used for such purposes and access to this data will be highly limited.
You have the right to be informed about the data we are collecting about you. You may demand changes to your personal data, deletion of your personal data, as well as limitations to our treatment of your personal data according to privacy law.
